YOUR OWN LITTLE HOUSE
Park in your private parking spot, walk through the white gate, past our chickens, under the rose arch, enter through the key box, and explore the cottage and the surroundings. With a little luck, you’ll find a bouquet of fresh flowers from the garden, produce from the vegetable garden, eggs from the chickens, or some homemade jam waiting for you. Welcome!
NATURE AROUND THE CORNER
With the Millingerwaard as its backyard and the beaches just a stone’s throw away, Kekerdom is a hugely popular spot for nature lovers. Cyclists, hikers and birdwatchers know exactly where to find Kekerdom. The Konik horses, storks, and Galloway cattle roam freely, serving as a backdrop to all the other beauty that nature has to offer here.
A LITTLE ABOUT THE BUILDERS
Together with our children, Boas and Billie, we live on Weverstraat in Kekerdom. When we first met on a mountain in Sri Lanka, we spoke English to each other. When—a few years later—we found our dream home in Kekerdom, there was a little white shed in the yard. From day one, we called that shed “The Whitehouse” for convenience.
