The TinyWhitehouse is located in the “De Millingerwaard” nature reserve. Here, you can bike, hike, swim, go birdwatching, and enjoy a delicious refreshment at "The Millinger Thee Garden".

From the little church in Kekerdom, it’s about a 2.5-km walk through the Millingerwaard to the exotic spot “De Millinger Theetuin.” Here you can enjoy a refreshing drink, a delicious lunch, or an after-dinner drink and be inspired by the beautiful garden, which is definitely worth a visit.

When you leave the cottage and turn left after the white gate, you can cross the dike on the left and, within a few minutes, walk straight out onto the Millingerwaard and down to the small beach. Would you like to take a longer walk to our personal favorite? Then follow this route on Komoot

Looking for a short bike ride or walk that ends with a tasty treat? Stop by Clevers to enjoy their delicious artisanal ice cream or order a coffee and a pastry! Definitely worth a visit!

Nestled between the ridge and the Waal River lies the cozy café/restaurant Oortjeshekken, right in the heart of the “De Gelderse Poort” nature reserve. Right across the dike, you can start your walk or go for a swim in the natural waters of Bisonbaai.

It’s a 10-minute walk from the cottage to the De Hazelaarshof campground. A great spot for a casual getaway, where kids can play in the sandbox and zoom around on go-karts, while you pick up some last-minute fresh vegetables or snacks at their farm store or enjoy a refreshing drink or ice cream on their sunny terrace.

Just a few minutes' walk away is the Kekerdom bus stop, which takes you to Nijmegen, among other places—perfect for a day trip without a car.
